Anthony Arevalo, owner of Assembled In House, lives in Reno, Nevada and creates both functional objects and fine art using primarily recycled, repurposed and commonplace building materials. His work starts with the materials he finds and collects-objects and scraps most people no longer see value in, discarded to an alleyway or dumpster. While the previous life of these objects may be apparent in their surface or shape, he is not interested in what they were so much as what they have become, and more importantly, what they could be.
